Date My Lawyer

That's right. I have the hottest new idea for a reality show. I would like to thank Orange County, without which I might never have had such a whacked thought.

The 2009 Fall season will feature new, uninspired crap including Date My Laywer where women in Orange County who are getting divorced will attempt to match up their newly divorced friends with their hot, single lawyers.

Do you see the cattiness already? The drama writes itself. What else is Fox holding out for?

If that doesn't work out I'm going to pitch Lawyered to CBS. Lawyered takes Barney Stinson's character from How I Met Your Mother and gives him free reign to make rookie lawyers feel completely out of their elements. I'm thinking Anonymous Laywer should have a hand in it.

Obviously each show will feature a challenge where participants will be made to be absolute fools. The one who is least foolish will win and earn a moment of triumph which will promptly be squashed by Barney's awesomeness.

I think the first challenge should require them to throw The Most Epic "Conference Call" in the history of lawyerdom. It has to be at least as legendary as throwing empty beer cans at pigeons from the roof or no winner.

UPDATE: Marco who's practicing law in NYC suggested that litigators also be involved because "we can be studs too." Major oversight on my part. Apologies.
